This free template mimics a composition notebook, and your Powerpoint or Google Slides presentation content can be placed on the ruled pages. The design shows the original marbled black-and-white cover, with its generic label on the front to write the presentation title. However, you can change the slide background color to have other cover versions: blue, red, green, etc. Combine your content in the notebook’s pages with the hand-drawn icons to resemble a real school exercise book. Use this theme to talk about education, writing or to present the exercises to your students in an original and funny way.
This free educational presentation template features:
- Fully editable. Easy to change colors, text and photos
- 25 different slides with tips to improve your presentation. Choose the layouts that best fit your content. Add, delete or re-order slide pages based on your needs
- Design that mimics a composition notebook
- Feature-rich theme with examples of styles for graphs, charts and tables
- It includes a customizable icon family with 80 different icons and a world map (you can change sizes and colors). And more free icons & maps for your presentations available.
- Use as a Google Slides theme or download as PowerPoint template and edit on your computer. Also export to PDF, JPG, etc.
- 16:9 screen layout (Can change to 4:3 with a click, but some graphic assets may not work well)

That is one really good presentation template. By this, I now have a very good idea of how to organize the slides for presentation.

I don’t have a button under the present button to “use as Google slides theme”
I’ve been making a copy and then making a copy of them template, deleting the information and adding what i need in my presentation. Is there a way to open a blank slide deck, choose one of your themes and type my presentation?
Jimena says
Hi Jen. If at any time you’ve made a copy of a certain template, then you can apply it as a theme to a new presentation. Check the “Import new theme” instructions here https://support.google.com/docs/answer/1705254

If you use this on google slides, use the font ¨Nothing You Could Do¨ and make the font size 20. It will look really cool
Claire Cipolla says
It looks very good but when I try to put in a picture it won’t work.
Jimena says
Hello Claire, please check the FAQs.
Scott says
Love this deck, but how do I get the fonts from fontsquirrel without the scam “driverupdate” program?
Gayo says
Hi Scott, please check that you didn’t click on a banner by mistake. FontSquirrel doesn’t ask for any software installed in order to download the fonts. Simply click on the “Download TTF” purple button that you’ll find to the right of the title.
Besides, if you do a Google Search you’ll find the same fonts for free in many other websites.

Fun template! I like the ability to stick with a notebook style for digital notebooks. Curious if there is a way to change the page margins to 8.5 x 11 and maintain the background dimensions. When I tried it stretched the backgrounds.
Gayo says
Hi Cortney, I’m afraid there’s not a way to do what you need. But check SlidesMania’s notebook templates as they have different sizes.
